If you own a small business, save this video because here is your exact 4-step roadmap to getting registered and ready.

Step 1: Get compliant. You can’t bid on government contracts with just a hustle.

You need three things:

1. Your Business Registration from COJ.
2. A valid Tax Compliance Certificate.
3. Active NIS and GCT numbers.

Step 2: Register on GOJEP at gojep.gov.jm.

Create your supplier account and select your CPV codes—these are industry tags so the system alerts you when contracts open up.

Then, apply for your PPC Certificate under Goods, Services, or Works.

Step 3: Get trained!

Don’t let the bidding paperwork scare you.
