Resolve IT: Next big text company?
Jamaian-based tech company, Resolve I.T., is aiming to become the go-to ICT provider in the Caribbean.
Speaking on Taking Stock with Kalilah Reynolds, the company’s CEO Almando Cox, says they already serve several Caribbean countries, including Trinidad, St. Kitts, Antigua, the Bahamas, and the Virgin Islands.
Even though the team is small—just under 20 people—they also work with experts in places like India, making them a smart and connected company.
The company handles all kinds of tech issues. It helps businesses choose the right tools and software, keeps their information safe, and supports their move to the cloud. This means companies can store and use their data online more easily. Resolve I.T. also protects business data from hackers and backs it up, so nothing is lost if there’s a problem.
Even though other tech companies offer similar services, Cox says Resolve I.T. stands out because of the way it works closely with clients. “We are very integral to our client’s organisation,” he explains. “We want to know your strategy… so we can serve you better.” That strong relationship with clients helps the company grow.
Resolve I.T. also builds special tools to help businesses do better. One of them is a smart CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. It helps with sales, marketing, and even answering phones using AI (artificial intelligence). The company believes AI is a big opportunity. Cox says, “It helps us to create additional value for our clients… we think AI is a blessing.”
The company plans to keep growing, especially in Trinidad. It is working on building a bigger team there to serve more people across the region. And it has big dreams for the future. Resolve I.T. is preparing to list on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange. This means the company will offer shares to the public, helping it grow and reach more clients.
When asked where he sees the company in the next five to ten years, Cox says he wants to keep expanding across the region. His team remains focused on one mission: helping clients use technology in smart ways so they can grow their businesses.
As Cox puts it best: “If you’re looking for a trusted technology solutions provider, then you can look us up.”
